We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in North Caldwell, NJ. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards; schedule mechanics/technicians’ work; manage outside orders; ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs; meet customer expectations; and maintain the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, stage vehicle repair and maintenance work, and drive sales initiatives. They communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information on required repairs, and strive to meet customer expectations. Possess: (i) one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; (ii) one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
