Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Single-School Site

Location: Middle School – Frederick, MD 21703

Position Details

• Pay: $50–$60+/hr based on experience (W-2)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–3:15 PM
• Hours: 35 paid hours per week, and a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: May 28, 2027
• Work Setting: Single-school site

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, school administrators, counselors, and related service providers to support student success.
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to school staff on behavior management strategies, crisis prevention, and de-escalation techniques.
• Monitor student progress, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and adjust behavioral strategies as needed.
• Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), emotional disabilities, ADHD, and other behavioral needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral recommendations and documentation.
• Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts, including implementation of appropriate safety protocols.

Requirements

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• Maryland Licensed Bahavior Analyst (LBA)
• Experience conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions.
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavior management, and positive behavior support strategies.
• Experience working with K–12 students with autism, emotional disabilities, and other behavioral needs preferred.
• Strong collaboration, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or behavior support staff is preferred.
