Insurance Sales Representative

Job Roles and ResponsibilitiesGenerate new commercial insurance business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and in-person prospecting.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.Respond promptly to inbound leads and referrals.Qualify prospects and identify appropriate commercial insurance opportunities.Analyze client risk exposures and recommend customized insurance solutions.Prepare and present professional insurance proposals to prospective clients.Close new business while developing long-term client relationships.Build, manage, and grow a profitable commercial book of business.Conduct annual coverage reviews and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.Collaborate with underwriting, account management, and service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and policy servicing.Maintain accurate client activity and documentation within the Agency Management System (AMS).Stay current on carrier products, market trends, and commercial insurance solutions.Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and business development initiatives.Qualifications and CertificationsB2B sales experience required.Commercial insurance sales experience preferred but not required.Active Florida 2-20 Insurance License preferred or ability to obtain one.Proven track record of generating new business and closing sales.Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.Experience using CRM or Agency Management Systems preferred.Ability to explain complex insurance concepts to business owners.Strong organizational and time management skills.BenefitsUncapped Commission StructureMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Holidays401(k) with Employer ContributionsCareer Growth OpportunitiesTeam Events and Quarterly Team LunchesCommunity Involvement Opportunities
