Overview
Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) travel assignment in Helena, Montana. Start date July 5, 2026. Duration 13 weeks. Weekly pay between $2,047 and $2,181, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 schedule. Setting: hospital ICU.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for critically ill adults in the ICU, including monitoring, medication administration, and titration of therapies
- Manage complex presentations such as respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, OD/Detox, CHF, and complex post-op surgical cases
- Perform continuous assessment, document patient status, and escalate changes to the multidisciplinary team; utilize Epic EMR for charting and orders
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other team members to coordinate patient care plans
- Float to medical-surgical units as needed; participate in orientation and precepting of new graduate RNs as required
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements
- Active Montana license or compact license and verification on file
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS on profile
- Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU environment and float to MS units as needed
- Residency within 200 miles of the assignment location (per policy)
