Technical Project Manager

Job Overview As a Technical Project Manager, you will serve as the primary coordinator and project driver for initiatives across the Digital & Enterprise Technology portfolio. You will work closely with business stakeholders, software vendors, developers, data engineers, designers, and leadership to ensure projects are executed efficiently and delivered on schedule. This is a highly collaborative individual contributor role focused on project execution, stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, vendor coordination, and roadmap management. You will act as the central point of coordination across multiple teams and projects, helping drive successful outcomes through organization, communication, and accountability. This role requires being onsite five days a week at our NYC headquarters. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of technology initiatives across a diverse portfolio of digital and enterprise systems. Drive cross-functional project delivery for CRM enhancements, Data Lake initiatives, API integrations, customer loyalty programs, web and mobile applications, digital invoicing solutions, data optimization efforts, and customer experience platforms. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, software vendors, and external partners, ensuring alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Analyze business needs and translate them into clearly defined technical requirements, project plans, and implementation strategies. Establish project priorities, monitor progress against milestones, and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and resource constraints to ensure successful outcomes. Facilitate strategic communication and decision-making across technical and nontechnical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Partner with engineering leadership and development teams to oversee application enhancements, integration initiatives, testing strategies, and deployment schedules. Evaluate platform performance, prioritize enhancement opportunities, and coordinate the resolution of system issues and feature requests for various core company systems and tech platforms. Collaborate with data engineering teams to support Data Lake architecture initiatives, deployment planning, and data governance efforts. Provide project leadership across customer-facing digital products, ensuring alignment between design, development, and business objectives. Exercise independent judgment in identifying project risks, recommending solutions, and escalating critical issues to leadership when appropriate. Develop and maintain project documentation, implementation plans, executive status reports, and stakeholder communications. Lead stakeholder reviews, facilitate project governance processes, and drive consensus among cross-functional teams. Monitor project budgets, vendor performance, and contractual deliverables while identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. Contribute to the strategic planning, development, and ongoing management of the Digital & Enterprise Technology roadmap. Experience supporting digital initiatives within the retail, e-commerce, luxury goods, or consumer products industry. (Plus) Experience working with software development teams and managing multiple concurrent projects. (Plus) Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, project tracking, and software development lifecycles. (Plus) Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar platforms. (Plus) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. 3–4 years of experience in technical project management, project coordination, digital product operations, software implementation, or a related field. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to follow through – including holding stakeholders accountable to milestones, persistent follow-ups to unblock roadblocks, and ensuring on-time delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, gather business requirements, and translate them into actionable project plans. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, external vendors, and third-party software partners across concurrent initiatives. Experience supporting platforms, customer loyalty programs, digital applications, API integrations, software implementation projects, and data-driven technology initiatives, including familiarity with web, mobile, or customer-facing digital product coordination and data management environments. Experience supporting digital initiatives within the retail, e-commerce, luxury goods, or consumer products industry. (Plus) Experience working with software development teams and managing multiple concurrent projects, with strong understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and software development lifecycles. (Plus) Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar platforms. (Plus) Salary Range $95,000 – $115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
