Compensation from $25.50 to $28.50 - (based upon experience)

Full Time Day 7:30am – 4pm

The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for preventive and routine maintenance and the upkeep of residential buildings, grounds and equipment to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Formal or on-the-job training in plumbing, electrical, painting, maintenance, carpentry and general repair preferred
• Two years of related experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions
• Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Complete all general maintenance of the community (basic plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, unit inspections, painting, work orders, carpentry and maintenance support).
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Ensure cleanliness of assigned areas.
• May perform daily cleaning tasks as assigned to support community.
