Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools is crucial for effectively identifying vehicle issues and performing accurate repairs. While Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory. A valid driver's license is required to ensure you can operate and test vehicles safely.
