Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Contracts available for 13 or 26 weeks. Candidates from other facilities are accepted if they have been separated for at least 3 months.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified professional with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Knowledge, experience, and familiarity with Epic charting system are required. The following certifications are required:

• BLS
• FHM
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS (preferred)

Patient Care Details

The position involves working with patients experiencing:

• Labor/Preterm labor

Facility specifics include 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms, providing a range of services including:

• Circulate for OB-GYN
• Post-Op and Pre-Op care
• Scrubbing for procedures
• Low Risk Antepartum and Low Risk Labor & Delivery

Special Procedures and Equipment

The role requires proficiency in the following special procedures:

• Blood/Blood Products Administration
• Cardioversion/Defibrillation
• Cooling/Warming Blankets
• Drains, Epidural Pumps, PCA Pumps, Syringe Pumps
• Wound Vac management
• Medication administration including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate

Additionally, all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, will be attended. GYN surgeries and couplet care will be a part of daily responsibilities, as well as managing the transition nursery.

Staffing and Scheduling

The staffing ratio is expected to be 1:1 to 3. Floating may be required to Post-Partum services and possibly to additional facilities based on skill set. Specific scheduling requirements and requests will be determined at the time of submission.

Candidates Requirements

• Must have a valid compact license at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• References including two references covering at least one year of work experience within the last three years are required.

Position available in Seattle, WA .

Additional Information

Call rotation may apply, and candidates should be prepared for possible weekend coverage. Communication devices necessary for the role will be provided by the facility at no cost.

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby to their contracted location. Refusal to float may result in reassignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
