About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Bilingual HR Specialist who is passionate about supporting employees, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of human resources, including employee onboarding, recruiting support, HR administration, compliance, and employee relations. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required for this position.

Job Description:

The Bilingual HR Specialist will provide day-to-day support for a variety of human resources functions while serving as a resource for employees, applicants, and clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting all stages of the employee lifecycle while maintaining compliance and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate employee records and update information across multiple HR systems and databases.

• Process employee status changes, including compensation updates, title changes, department transfers, and reporting structure adjustments.

• Assist with the creation, maintenance, and improvement of HR procedures, workflows, and process documentation.

• Review company policies and employee handbooks to help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

• Manage personnel files and maintain confidential employee documentation in accordance with company standards.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and applicants, answering questions related to benefits, payroll, policies, onboarding, and HR procedures.

• Coordinate employment verification requests and employment-related documentation.

• Conduct routine audits of employee files and HR records to ensure completeness and compliance.

• Collaborate with payroll providers, benefits administrators, and other external vendors as needed.

• Support recruiting efforts by posting job opportunities, reviewing resumes, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.

• Facilitate onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, coordinating background checks, scheduling pre-employment screenings, and processing new hire paperwork.

• Monitor HR projects, deadlines, and administrative tasks to ensure timely completion.

• Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets utilizing Microsoft Office applications.

• Conduct exit interviews and assist with employee offboarding processes.

• Provide bilingual English/Spanish support to employees, applicants, and clients as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.

• Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, HR Administration, Payroll, or a related field.

• Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining employee records.

• Understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements preferred.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
