Phlebotomist I – Hudson, OH

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM with rotational weekends.

Pay range: Minimum $20.00+ per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, certifications and market factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions following mandatory training.
• Research test and client information, confirm and verify all orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools.
• Navigate computers and accurately enter data as mandatory for success.
• Obtain identification, input billing information, and collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport per test order.
• Perform non‑patient‑facing duties, including inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using e‑mail.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data as mandated.
• Maintain mandatory phlebotomy logs (e.g., maintenance and temperature logs) in a timely manner.
