The Maiden Home Sales Team plays a pivotal role in nurturing the customer through the sales process. This is a remote location based out of Washington, DC or the surrounding area. Responsibilities include:

• Generating sales through personal contacts as well as Maiden Home's current book of business to help achieve personal and overall sales goals
• Growing the Maiden Home trade business with opening new accounts through outreach and networking within the design community
• Traveling locally and domestically for trade client consultations and visits
• Offering friendly, timely, and proactive communication as an authority and resource for designers
• Becoming an expert on Maiden Home's collection, including all styles, fabrics/leathers, design and construction details
• Acting as the face of the Maiden Home brand to our design community, mastering Maiden Home's voice across partner and customer communications
• Planning and executing industry events and trade shows, as needed

Job requirements include:

• The ideal candidate should be located in Washington DC or the surrounding area.
• 10+ years of experience in luxury design based sales, with an extensive personal book of business required.
• Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals, collaborate and influence the sale
• The ability to be proactive, take ownership of tasks, and identify areas of improvement
• Outside Sales experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a premium brand voice
• Strong attention to detail and relentless follow-through in a fast paced startup environment
• Outstanding problem solving skills; "can-do" attitude and resourcefulness; always willing to go the extra mile for the customer
• Strong time management skills
• Proficiency in Kustomer or similar CX software is a plus
• Candidates must have a reliable car and a valid, current driver's license
