Northeast Gastroenterology Associates is seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and complete check-in/check-out process.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients as needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations/referrals.
• Schedule office appointments and procedures.
• Process credit card payments and maintain accurate payment records.
• Assist with general administrative duties and support the clinical team as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful, but not required.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision, and to plan, coordinate, and carry out those tasks necessary to meet the job responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Type:

• Full-time position - 40 hours per week

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience
