Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with flexible self-scheduling (shifts may be consecutive or split). Variable weekend shifts required. No on-call required.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios required
• Proficiency in key PICU skills including ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, central line care, continuous sedation, IV vasopressors, chest tube management, ABG interpretation, and dysrhythmia management
• Clean background check required (facility does not accept Nursys or background hits)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

• 36 hours of orientation provided
