Job Description - Customer Service Assistant 2 (260004UL) Division of Wildlife, headquartered at the Akron Wildlife District Office, 912 Portage Lakes Dr. Akron, Ohio 44319. What we need: We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role as a Customer Service Assistant. What you will do: Answer incoming phone calls and provide high level of customer service as part of the 1-800-WILDLIFE Call Center. Complete sales to walk‑in customers. Complete administrative tasks for District Operations. Coordinate, plan events, trainings, and meetings hosted in the office. Complete public requests for educational, permitting, and promotional items that advance wildlife participation. Starting hourly pay of $23.65/hr with multiple pay increases over first 5.5 years, up to $28.76/hr. Possible cost of living adjustments (COLA) and longevity pay supplements after five years of state service.
