Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights (3x12, 19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Stepdown setting within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center environment
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips as a core requirement of this role
• Monitor and manage a patient ratio of 1:4–5 in a high-acuity stepdown environment
• Float to Telemetry or Medical/Surgical floors as needed when unit is overstaffed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday coverage; expected to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PCU, Stepdown, or IMC nursing experience required
• Cardiac drip titration and management experience is a hard requirement
• Active RN license; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a teaching hospital or Level II Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and medical/surgical float coverage
• Ability to manage flexible scheduling, including 48-hour shift availability when approved
