Position Details: Pay Range: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour Work Schedule: Casual/per diem; hours as needed, varying start and end times, 3rd shift (overnight) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (eligibility varies by hours worked) Responsibilities include: Assess specimen acceptability for testing Perform technical procedures according to SOPs Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving Prepare and evaluate reagents and controls Report accurate and timely results Perform preventative maintenance and quality control Replenish supplies and assist with specimen processing Maintain a safe work environment with PPE Requirements: Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements Previous clinical testing experience preferred CA MLT license required ASCP or AMT certification preferred Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems Attention to detail, good communication and organizational skills Ability to pass a color vision test Flexibility for overtime or shift changes Additional info: Labcorp is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion and diversity.
