HSE Manager Location: Riverside, CA Position reports to: HR Business Partner Pay: 95K - 110K depending on experience Benefits Medical, Vision, Dental (Start on 1st day of the following month after being hired) 401(k) with company match of up to 6% 11 Company Paid Holidays Additional PTO Luxfer Group (NYSE: LXFR) Much More Position Purpose Ensure that all Safety and Environmental related activities are carried out in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures and to ensure that the company complies with all Environmental, Health and Safety regulatory requirements. Main Responsibilities The main activities of the position include but are not limited to the following: The point person for policy, procedure, and compliance aspects related to Health, Safety, and Environment. Review, maintain, and improve all programs and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulatory requirements. Facilitate Health, Safety and Environmental training, awareness, and improvement programs, including monthly training processes, deployment and reinforcement of behavioral safety principles, HSE audits, and improvement planning. Prepare inspection reports and generate corrective actions. Manage storm water, industrial user, and SCAQMD permits; complete required permit applications. Generate and maintain monthly and yearly reports. Provide energy, focus, and drive to continuously improve systems and processes. Lead business-wide safety team. Maintain ISO 14001 certification. Work with Worker’s Compensation insurance provider to manage all claims. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety Sciences (or related field) strongly preferred or extensive work experience in HS&E field. Minimum 3 years working in a manufacturing facility with a focus in Environmental, Health and Safety. Previous experience utilizing Behavior-Based Safety principles and/or programs in a manufacturing environment highly preferred. Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering training.
