Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced  Private Client Tax Manager / Senior Manager to lead tax engagements for high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, families, trusts, estates, and private wealth clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in individual and fiduciary taxation, exceptional client relationship skills, and experience managing complex tax engagements within a public accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Engagement Management

• Lead and manage tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and private wealth clients.

• Review and oversee preparation of:

  • Individual tax returns

  • Gift tax returns

  • Estate tax returns

  • Trust tax returns

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Provide technical review and guidance on complex tax matters.

Tax Planning & Advisory

• Develop proactive tax planning strategies for individuals, families, trusts, and estates.

• Provide advisory support related to wealth preservation and tax optimization.

• Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients.

• Serve as a primary advisor and point of contact for assigned engagements.

• Collaborate with senior leadership on complex client matters.

Leadership & Team Development

• Mentor and develop junior tax professionals.

• Review workpapers and provide technical guidance.

• Support team collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Active  CPA license required .

• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Individual taxation

  • Gift taxation

  • Estate taxation

  • Trust taxation

  • Private wealth advisory services

• Strong leadership, communication, and client advisory skills.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $130,000 – $200,000 annually
