Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Ennis, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and administrative skills, experience processing invoices, and the ability to manage payment schedules accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices for payment.
• Match invoices with corresponding Purchase Orders (POs) and receiving documentation.
• Perform accurate data entry of accounting and payment information.
• Set up and schedule payments according to due dates and company procedures.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and files.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies and payment status.
• Assist with month-end closing activities as needed.
• Support accounting department projects and administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Experience matching invoices to Purchase Orders (POs) .
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
