Job Details Job Location: Delmar, NY 12054 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $18.75 - $24.30 Hourly - Pay Range: $18.75-$24.30/hr based on verifiable direct care experience Shift Schedule Tuesday: 12pm-8pm Thursday: 6am-8pm Friday: 6am-1pm Saturday: 7am-2pm (This position is benefit eligible but is NOT FT) About Wildwood Programs Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. Role Overview We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full time in a Residential setting. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) A valid NYS license and clean driving record required Ability to lift 50lbs Positive and encouraging attitude toward those supported Professional demeanor Patience and positive attitude Strong desire to help others Enjoy teamwork Responsibilities Direct Support Professionals in a residential setting assist residents with daily living activities and support plans, including: Cooking, doing laundry, running errands Teaching residents skills for independence Taking individuals to appointments and activities Writing notes as needed Assisting with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money #J-18808-Ljbffr Wildwood Programs
