We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Trade Sales Consultant to develop new business and serve builders, contractors, and other trade professionals throughout the Middle Tennessee market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building a territory, earning the trust of customers, and guiding clients toward high-quality window and door solutions. What You’ll Do

• Follow the established Pella Trade Sales Process.
• Prospect for new business and growing an assigned customer base.
• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with builders, contractors, and other trade customers.
• Meet with customers in the field and at Pella showroom locations.
• Read blueprints, complete takeoffs, and convert project specifications into accurate quotes.
• Recommend and present window and door solutions based on each customer’s needs.
• Clearly communicate proposals, pricing, product details, and project expectations.
• Achieve established sales, revenue, and closing-ratio goals.
• Partner with internal teams to initiate service requests and maintain the company’s desired service standards.
• Manage customers’ need dates to support accurate production, shop-time, and delivery forecasting.
• Help Pella TN achieve its customer satisfaction goals.
• Consistently strive to create a “Very Satisfied” customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

• Three or more years of outside or business-to-business sales experience.
• A demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new business, and build lasting customer relationships.
• A self-motivated and goal-oriented approach with a strong desire to succeed.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to following established processes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel; Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Ability to confidently learn and explain technical product information.
• A four-year college degree is preferred but not required.

Physical and Work Requirements

• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to visit active and unfinished jobsites and walk across varying terrain.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift and handle product samples or small windows, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to use laptops and mobile devices throughout the workday.
