Cath Lab Tech

Sugar Land Cardiovascular ASC We are seeking a motivated Cath Lab Tech to join our team. We have 2 cath labs and 10 pre/post op beds. We perform diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants, pulse generator changes, loop implants and a variety of IR procedures. Candidate must be available Monday-Friday based on staff rotation, with schedule subject to change based on procedure schedule/volume/flow of the day. Availability for early mornings (6am) and later afternoons is required. Position requires weekday only based on a staff rotation-no holidays or call. Some later afternoons required. Job Summary Performs patient care activities. Scrubs and assists physician during procedures. Assists with X-Ray equipment, cleans and stores supplies, instruments, and equipment. Documents and maintains patient intraprocedural records, procedure logs and required paperwork. Requirements Training/experience in a Cath lab required. Demonstrated understanding of sterilization principles and sterile technique required. CPR/ACLS certification required. Radiology certification preferred, RCIS certification preferred. Understanding of housekeeping requirements, including sterile environments, preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
