Responsible for providing analytical expertise and project management to the American Human Resources (HR) Department and drive initiatives that result in cost savings and process efficiencies. This job will also lead and perform data analysis, develop and implement strategies, develop forecast models, and drive "best practices" within HR processes. What you'll do Conceives and develops analytical models Defines and tracks performance metrics, develop scorecards, and drives improvement initiatives Develops forecasting models to drive decisions and strategy Integrates and manages large data sets to help tell stories that will help the business make decisions by providing insights and recommendations Completes other related projects, as assigned All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training 2 years of experience in a HR or People Analytics role Experience using innovative thinking ability with high degree of motivation and problem solving skills Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience Advanced degree or Master's degree in Business Administration Skills, Licenses & Certifications Ability to work well in fast paced environment Ability to drive results Ability to deliver high quality work on time Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Knowledge of excellent customer service Knowledge of advanced analytical skills Ability to guide a team by creating and fostering collaboration Ability to present thoughts both formally and informally Ability to present findings What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
