Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week | Weekend Shifts Required

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate occupational therapy treatment programs for hospitalized patients
• Facilitate the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled persons to maximize functional status
• Manage a caseload of approximately 6–8 patients per day
• Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care coordination
• Perform documentation using inpatient EMR systems and participate in performance improvement initiatives
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or higher
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy License required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of occupational therapy experience, or demonstrated ability to function independently
• Ability to work weekend shifts as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with inpatient hospital settings
• Familiarity with MedHost EMR documentation system
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
