Location: North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week available, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• 35-bed adult medical-surgical/telemetry overflow unit with dedicated discharge and admission support Monday-Friday
• Target nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, occasionally 1:6, with CNA support at 1:12
• Epic charting system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• 13-week minimum assignment length with potential extension through late February
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• 36 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful unit integration

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
• BLS certification required; ACLS required
• Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start date
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with central and peripheral line management, blood product administration, and non-invasive airway management
• Willingness to float to sister units as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
