Position Overview
We are seeking an Operational Accountant to support manufacturing accounting, inventory costing, financial analysis, and business operations. This position will serve as a key partner to both finance and operations, helping maintain costing accuracy, improve financial visibility, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze standard costs
• Monitor inventory valuation and perform inventory reconciliations
• Analyze production, labor, and inventory variances
• Reconcile inventory and metal accounts
• Support cycle counts and physical inventories
• Perform month-end close activities and journal entries
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Conduct product costing and profitability analysis
• Partner with operations teams to improve reporting and decision-making
• Develop financial analysis to support business performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of manufacturing, cost accounting, or inventory accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting principles
• Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operations teams
