Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator/Engineering Assistant for a year-long contract opportunity in Portland, OR. This role supports engineering and project delivery teams by coordinating administrative engineering activities, maintaining document control, tracking design package progress, and helping keep project information organized and on schedule.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project delivery, engineering coordination, or project administration within an architectural, engineering, or construction environment. Key Responsibilities

- Assist the engineering lead with administrative engineering tasks, including design package schedules, review sign-offs, checklists, and project team coordination.
- Maintain discipline-level document control, revision control, engineering data, equipment lists, calculations, schedules, and related project documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for design staff in partnership with department managers and project leadership.
- Work with project document control teams to support design package submissions, supporting documents, and required checklists.
- Track design changes, organize project data, and collaborate with engineering disciplines to ensure accurate information flow.
- Take meeting notes, support discipline organizational meetings, and help project teams meet schedule, cost, and deliverable commitments.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $40 per hour.
- Job Type: Year long Contract - possible extension.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Location: Portland, OR.
