Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Interventional Radiology to provide vital imaging support within a busy healthcare environment. Utilizing advanced imaging technology, you will help guide minimally invasive procedures to support accurate diagnoses and positive patient outcomes. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals with specialized experience as an IR Tech in fast-paced medical settings.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Documented experience in Interventional Radiology required
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and radiation safety protocols
• BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging systems for a range of interventional procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe and efficient procedures
• Adhere to strict infection control and quality assurance standards
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, providing immediate support as needed
• Assist with patient positioning and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
