Requirements / Qualifications

Under the direction of an assigned administrator, perform a variety of technical accounting duties in the review, evaluation, and adjustment of assigned accounts; maintain, audit, and reconcile assigned accounts; prepare, maintain, and ensure accuracy of various financial records and reports; obtain quotes; purchase materials, services, supplies, and equipment in accordance with policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or the equivalent supplemented by college-level coursework in accounting or related field and two years?? clerical accounting experience. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license. Incumbents must be insurable by the liability carrier for the Madera County Superintendent of Schools.
