Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

Maintain and reconcile job cost ledgers and ensure accurate cost allocation
Analyze labor costs, payroll, and productivity to support joblevel margins
Track inventory and apply material costs accurately to active jobs
Manage fixed assets, capital expenditures, and depreciation entries
Prepare monthend journal entries, reconciliations, and close schedules
Support yearend close and external audit requests

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of accounting experience with strong job costing exposure
Experience with monthend and yearend close processes
Handson fixed asset and depreciation experience
