Note Must have California Certified Journeyman Electrician credentials or be at true Journeyman level. State‑certified is highly preferred. Job Description Lead and work alongside a crew to assemble, install, and maintain commercial solar photovoltaic systems Install solar panels on ground mounts, rooftops, and other commercial structures Perform electrical work across the full project lifecycle, including underground work, equipment installation, wiring, and grid interconnection Configure PV systems based on site conditions, plans, and project requirements Interpret blueprints, site plans, and equipment manuals to ensure accurate installation Follow applicable building codes, safety standards, and installation best practices Support commercial EV charging, lighting retrofit, and related electrical projects as needed Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently in active field environments Help ensure projects are completed with strong workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail Qualifications California Certified Journeyman Electrician license strongly preferred Journeyman-level electrical experience required Commercial solar or PV installation experience preferred Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, equipment, and installation practices Ability to read plans, drawings, and equipment manuals Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical field work including climbing, kneeling, bending, and crouching Why You Will Love Working Here You will be part of a team doing practical, high-impact work in renewable energy and commercial electrical construction.
