This role involves inpatient neonatal care within a pediatric hospital setting, offering a call-only schedule with 24-hour beeper shifts on specified dates, focusing on critical neonatal procedures and clinical management. Opportunity Highlights Hospitalist physician locum tenens role Call-only, 24-hour beeper shifts June 25–29, July 2–7, July 23–27, July 30–August 1 Neonatal airway management including intubation UVC/UAC placement and lumbar puncture EKG interpretation Neonatal ventilator management (preferred) Neonatal chest tube insertion (preferred) Schedule & Coverage Call-only, 24-hour shifts Specific dates as listed above Shift times: 6am–6am Provider to cover assigned shifts on scheduled dates Practice Environment This opportunity is based within a pediatric inpatient hospital setting in Eureka, California. Providers will deliver neonatal inpatient care, working alongside nursing and support staff in a structured environment designed for critical neonatal procedures and management.
