About the Role As a Recovery Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will: Assist the treatment team in providing direct client care. Aid in ensuring an orderly, safe and therapeutic environment by maintaining a therapeutic relationship with person served and treat person served with dignity and respect at all times. Monitor person served to help maintain a safe, clean environment and set standards for milieu monitoring through the performance of these tasks. Observe, report and document client interaction among peers, staff and the community as it relates to clients' individual recovery goals. What We're Looking For We are looking for: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 2 years' experience in a human service field required. College education in human service field may be substituted for experience. Personal recovery of at least 2 years may be substituted for work experience. Preference is given to candidates with work experience in substance abuse. Current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements required.
