May be required to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts.QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in biological science or related area preferred or comparable experience.Current Florida Medical Technologist license or ASCP Certification as a Technologist in at least one of the following: Hematology, Immunohematology, Serology.Proficiency in using sterile technique required.Previous experience in Stem Cell Processing and cell culturing preferred, but experience in Blood Banking or HLA Typing acceptable.Analytical skill required. Computer operational skills using personal computer, laboratory system or other hospital system preferred.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Temporary or current license as a State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
