Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, focusing on providing home care, where you will conduct therapy sessions in patients' homes or other community settings. You will benefit from a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the unique physical needs of each patient, designing personalized treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic conditions.
• Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring that each individual receives dedicated attention and therapy tailored to their rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize effective manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Administer and refine therapeutic exercises, focusing on non-surgical solutions to reduce pain and promote recovery.
• Track patient progress through accurate documentation and regular evaluations, adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to implement comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient management.
• Educate patients and their families about the therapeutic process and provide guidance on exercises and wellness strategies they can practice at home.
• Encourage patients by celebrating milestones and motivating them to adhere to their rehabilitation programs.
• Stay current with best practices in orthopedic physical therapy to bring innovative approaches to your patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and manage workflow utilizing EMR software like WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. You will work with a diverse population, adapting your treatments based on each individual's age, condition, and recovery goals. Your role directly impacts their rehabilitation journey, fostering hope and resilience throughout their treatment.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
• Valid and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Ability to design and implement exercise programs tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Experience in developing comprehensive rehabilitation programs for a variety of patients.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate patient education and collaboration with medical teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
