Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our rehabilitation center located in Gainesville, Florida. You will work alongside a small, collaborative team that consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify and address patient goals and requirements.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and focused therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing diverse treatment modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Utilize cost-effective therapeutic interventions that aim to improve patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Seek alternatives to medications and surgical procedures, focusing on non-invasive solutions for pain management.
• Educate patients on exercise and rehabilitation techniques to encourage a healthier lifestyle.
• Document all patient care services and progress meticulously to maintain consistent communication and care continuity.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care that meets all their needs.
• Evaluate and monitor treatment outcomes thoroughly to adapt interventions as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation following injuries or surgeries, as well as those managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference given to candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• An untarnished professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.

Preferred Experience

• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a hands-on approach to patient care.
• Demonstrated competence in developing and executing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to aid in patient documentation and progress tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 90,000–120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
