Work Environment

You will be working in clients' homes, allowing you to provide personalized care in a familiar environment that can enhance patient comfort and engagement. Our structure promotes a collaborative approach, with regular communication among our healthcare professionals to ensure all patients receive comprehensive and holistic care. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, providing you with a balanced work-life integration while addressing the urgent needs of our growing patient base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments by thoroughly evaluating patients' physical abilities, limitations, and needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a consistent caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality-driven care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to enhance patients' strength, flexibility, and functional mobility.
• Minimize the reliance on medications by proposing alternative therapies and non-surgical options tailored to each patient's condition.
• Create and customize fitness and wellness programs that empower patients to actively participate in their recovery process.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring clear communication and documentation of outcomes.
• Encourage patients and their families through education relating to self-care strategies and lifestyle modifications to foster long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to co-manage complex cases and enhance overall care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on orthopedic and rehabilitation patients who are navigating the recovery process from injuries or surgeries. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages, from young athletes to older adults, thereby requiring a comprehensive understanding of diverse treatment applications and patient needs. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring that these patients regain their mobility and independence while reducing their pain and improving their overall health.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of disciplinary actions or board sanctions on the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques tailored to address various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in home health or orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrable ability to create individualized therapeutic protocols based on sound clinical reasoning.
• Exceptional communication skills to foster strong relationships with patients and their families, enhancing treatment compliance and understanding.

Compensation and Benefits
