Work Environment

Our therapy space is designed to promote healing and rehabilitation within a collaborative environment. As an onsite therapist, you will work closely with a supportive team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs through comprehensive physical examinations to define their functional goals and therapy requirements.
• Manage a relatively high volume of patients, averaging 2 per hour, and adapt treatment plans based on their responses, ensuring individualized and effective interventions.
• Utilize various evidence-based treatment techniques and modalities tailored to enhance clients' mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function.
• Develop and implement detailed care plans incorporating progressive exercise regimens that align with each patient's unique goals and capabilities.
• Conduct thorough documentation of patient services and treatment outcomes, adhering to compliance and best practices for patient care.
• Promote wellness by educating patients on exercises, lifestyle adjustments, and injury prevention methods that bolster long-term health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, fostering a pathway to optimal recovery.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patients' progress, making necessary adjustments in therapy approaches and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily caters to an orthopedic population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will play a critical role in reshaping their journey toward health, encouraging them to achieve their personal best through focused, individualized rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory for this position.
• Must hold a valid and current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Gainesville, FL, with a clean record free of disciplinary actions.
• A robust understanding of manual therapy techniques, as well as proficiency in developing and implementing tailored exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of rich experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary medical team is advantageous for promoting collaborative patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000.
