Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Good Movement Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with functional limitations and disabilities stemming from orthopedic conditions.
• Designing individualized treatment plans based on evaluations, treatment goals, and evidence-based practices.
• Implementing therapeutic techniques and interventions, continually adjusting them as needed based on patient response and progress.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment procedures, expected outcomes, and self-management strategies to further enhance recovery.
• Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, adhering to all applicable regulations and standards.
• Staying informed on new therapies, research, and best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation to continuously improve care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters primarily to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions related to musculoskeletal disorders. You will be working with diverse patient demographics, encompassing varying ages, cultures, and backgrounds. Providing personalized care that respects each individual's unique needs and challenges is paramount to our approach and contributes significantly to successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A current license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in the state of Florida.
• At least 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is mandatory.
• A valid CPR certification demonstrating your readiness to respond to emergencies.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with experience in advanced orthopedic rehabilitation techniques, such as sports rehabilitation, manual therapy, or evidence-based practice interventions, will be favored. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities are beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
