Solutions Manager

Role Overview
HWArobotics is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant / Solutions Manager to support warehouse automation and intralogistics projects across international markets.
This role is broader than a traditional Design Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer position. The successful candidate will act as a Solution Leader, providing high-level solution planning, system integration guidance, technical clarification, and project advisory support across multiple projects.
The role will work closely with approximately 7–8 external system integrators, guiding them on solution direction, system logic, project planning, and technical alignment. While the position may not be responsible for full detailed project execution internally, the candidate must have strong hands-on project execution experience from previous roles in order to provide practical and credible guidance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead high-level solution planning for warehouse automation and intralogistics projects.
• Work with external system integrators to guide solution direction, system architecture, layout planning, and project logic.
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution discussions, client communication, technical clarification, and proposal support.
• Review and understand key project data, operational flow, warehouse process logic, and automation requirements.
• Provide advisory support during project execution, ensuring the proposed solution is practical, feasible, and aligned with customer needs.
• Prepare, review, or modify layout drawings and technical concepts using AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Support communication between customers, sales teams, system integrators, and internal technical teams.
• Identify potential technical risks, design gaps, or execution challenges during the solution development stage.
• Present solution concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide system-level thinking across different automation solutions, including shuttle systems, AS/RS, conveyor systems, sorting systems, and related warehouse automation technologies.
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience in warehouse automation, intralogistics, material handling, or system integration.
• Prior hands-on experience in detailed project design, solution execution, or project delivery.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operation logic, data flow, process design, and automation system planning.
• Ability to work as a Solution Leader, guiding external system integrators rather than relying only on internal execution teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar layout/design software is required.
• Strong ability to read, review, and develop warehouse layout drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts clearly and logically.
• Strong client-facing capability, including solution presentation, technical clarification, and trust-building.
• Ability to manage multiple project cases and support different system integrators at the same time.
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical project judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with shuttle systems, AS/RS, goods-to-person systems, conveyor systems, sorting systems, or other warehouse automation solutions.
• Experience working with international customers or cross-border project teams.
• Previous experience in a consulting, solution management, pre-sales, or system integration role.
• Ability to balance commercial needs, customer requirements, and technical feasibility.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is not only a designer, but also a solution-oriented consultant with strong system-level thinking. They should understand detailed project execution from past experience, but in this role they will mainly provide guidance, advisory support, solution planning, and technical leadership.
They must be able to communicate clearly, work with external system integrators, support customer discussions, and use CAD drawings to explain and develop practical warehouse automation solutions.
