Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940 Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse / Travel RN Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry / Renal Unit Start Date: 09/28/2026 Contract Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Schedule: Every other weekend; holidays as required Floating: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals EMR: Meditech Dress Code: Solid navy scrubs Location: Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama or a compact license AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required Associate degree in Nursing required 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry, telemetry nursing, or related inpatient experience preferred 18 months of experience may be considered with 1 year of recent specialty experience No temporary licenses accepted Comfortable providing patient-facing care in a fast-paced clinical environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with kidney-related conditions and telemetry needs Support patients requiring post-hemodialysis care and ongoing peritoneal dialysis management Monitor patient status, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the care team Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary staff to support safe, coordinated inpatient care Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and follow unit workflows Float to other units or hospitals as needed to support patient care needs Work scheduled nights, every other weekend, and required holidays Apply now to join a rewarding Travel Med/Surg Telemetry RN opportunity in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
