Channel Operations Specialist

Trident Consulting is seeking a Channel Operations Specialist (SAP | Order-to-Cash) for one of our client in Boston, MA a global leader in business and technology services. Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Channel Operations & Customer Service to support channel operations and customer service functions for a leading life sciences organization. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence across the order-to-cash (O2C) lifecycle while supporting revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP experience (required) , expertise in order-to-cash processes, customer service operations, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis. Experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Execute and review complex customer transactions with a high degree of accuracy. Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesalers, pharmacies, and other channel partners. Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for order-to-cash (O2C) processes and channel operations. Analyze operational data to identify process inefficiencies, revenue leakage, and root causes. Lead and support cross-functional process improvement and system optimization initiatives. Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Trade, and IT teams to improve operational workflows. Drive SAP system utilization and process automation to improve efficiency and scalability. Develop corrective and preventive actions to enhance operational stability. Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and standard operating procedures. Mentor junior team members on customer service processes, issue resolution, and system functionality. Prepare operational reports and provide business insights to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Customer Service, or Channel Operations . Hands-on SAP experience (Mandatory). Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience collaborating with cross-functional business teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience. Advanced knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C), Serialization, and Distribution Operations . Experience supporting Channel Operations or Commercial Operations. Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization experience. Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
