Director of Compliance (New York)

Our client is a rapidly growing healthcare technology organization looking to hire a Director of Compliance to lead compliance, privacy, and regulatory programs. This individual will serve as a key business partner across Product, Technology, Legal, Operations, Clinical, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure regulatory requirements are embedded into product development, operational processes, and patient-facing experiences. They operate at the intersection of healthcare delivery, technology, data privacy, and regulatory oversight, this role requires a leader who can translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business and technical solutions. Title-Director of ComplianceLocation-remote United StatesResponsibilitiesLead the organization's compliance and regulatory strategy across telehealth operations, healthcare technology platforms, and patient engagement programs.Develop and maintain enterprise-wide compliance policies, procedures and monitoring programs.Partner closely with Legal, Product, Technology, Clinical, and Operations teams to evaluate regulatory risks and identify compliant business solutions.Oversee compliance investigations, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.Analyze and document applicable federal, state, and industry regulations related to proposed product enhancements and technology solutions.Evaluate third-party technology vendors, partner integrations, and data-sharing arrangements for compliance and privacy risks.Partner with Security teams to ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare data privacy Oversee privacy governance related to the capture, storage, transmission, use, and sharing of protected health information (PHI).Monitor evolving federal and state healthcare regulations impacting telehealth services.Advise leadership on emerging regulatory developments and business implications.Qualifications8+ years working within HealthTech, Digital Health, Telehealth, or healthcare technologyUnderstanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks including HIPAA and HITECHTelehealth industry experience strongly preferred.Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).Certifications such as CHPC, CHRC, CIPP/US, or similar healthcare privacy/compliance credentials.Compensation$200,000-240,000BonusEquityAdditional Information: For additional information or to apply, please contact View email address on apply.placed-app.com
