Job Responsibilities Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships for a technology services company with Oracle HCM cloud products. Business Development Manager Job Duties Locates or proposes potential software and software implementation deals by contacting potential customers and partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Screens potential software implementation deals by analyzing opportunity requirements, potential, and financials. Develops negotiating strategies and positions by examining risks and potentials. Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities that add value and profit to the organization. Writes Statements of Work or responds to RFQ/RFI/RFP that address the opportunity requirements and goals. Skills and Qualifications Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/B.S. degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
