Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the use of paintbrushes, trays, rollers, rollernaps, paint cans, stain brushes, and for ensuring clean
  air during painting projects within the Hospital, SCU,Pavilion, and Physician practices.
  
• Complete all associated work orders in a timely fashion
  
• Oversee and fill out all necessary paperwork
  
• Oversee the ordering of job materials (such as paints,stains, sheetrock mud, tape, and all other materialsneeded) using economical means
• Oversee the organization of job related materials,demolition materials, and tool cart.
• Make sure all trash is disposed of daily for any project involvement
• Air Compressor Logs-Monthly
• Emergency Lighting Logs- Monthly/Yearly
  
• Assist in other areas of engineering / maintenance asrequired.
  
• Maintain confidentiality at all time in accordance withProtected Health Information (PHI)
• Attends mandatory in services / educational classes
• Utilizes cost containment efforts
• Follows chain of command when making request, complaints, etc
• Adheres to meal and break time limits
• Demonstrates dependability by good attendance andpunctuality.
  
• Able to receive and carry out instructions.
  
• Performs job effectively, anticipates and is resourceful in making good decisions.
  
• Contributes to positive work climate and team effort, expresses positive attitude and cooperation
• Organizes and accomplishes job assignments within thetime allotted, accurately, and with minimum

Education/ Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
  Experience:
  1 2 years of verifiable work experience as a Carpenter or Carpenters helper.

Physical Demands:

• Must be capable of standing for long periods of time both on and of ladders.
• Must be able to withstand all types ofweather conditions.

Must be able to withstand extended periods of working in and around the smells and odors of various types of paints, chemicals and glues used in conjunction with the painting process.

• Works throughout all the facilities operated by AHCS. Generally in a climate controlled environment; however, at times in high, precarious places, both indoors and outside.

Equipment:
Saws, drills, nail gun, sanders, paint sprayers, grinders, hammers, screw drivers, wrenches, air compressors, heat guns,
ladders, paint brushes, paint rollers, drop cloths, putty knives, and scrapers
