Position Summary The Retail Sales Associate plays a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience by providing fast, friendly service in a high-energy convenience store environment. This position supports daily store operations, maintains store appearance, and helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest. We’re looking for dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working with people, multitasking, and being part of a strong team. Position Requirements Must consent to a criminal background check Must pass a pre-employment drug test Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and cash-handling skills preferred Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive and energetic attitude Accurately process transactions while following company cash-handling procedures Assist guests with fuel purchases, lottery transactions, returns, and other store services Promote featured products, rewards programs, and store promotions to enhance the guest experienceKeep the store clean, stocked, and organized including counters, shelves, coolers, restrooms, and outdoor areas in all weather conditions Restock merchandise, bag ice, organize displays, empty trash, and complete daily operational tasks Work efficiently during busy rushes while maintaining accuracy and friendliness Build positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and management Support overall store operations and assist team members as needed Success Factors Successful Retail Sales Associates are: Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment Reliable, accountable, and highly motivated Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused Able to multitask and prioritize efficiently Detail-oriented with strong accuracy skills Comfortable using POS systems, basic technology, and store equipment Team players who bring energy and positivity to every shift Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Ability to safely operate store equipment and handle cleaning chemicals Ability to stand for long periods in a confined workspace Ability to bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform repeated actions for extended periods Seasons Corner Market is committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and professional workplace.
