Operating Room Surgical TechnologistSchedule: Night Shift: 18:30 – 07:00 - Weekend Requirement: As needed; 3 weekend shifts per 13 weeksAssignment Details: Contract Length: Not specified - Guaranteed Hours: Not specifiedRequirements: Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required Experience in Neurosurgery and/or Orthopedics required Proficient in DaVinci Xi robotic systems Experience in Trauma at a Level I facility preferred Certifications: BLS (BCLS), NIHSS Experience with EPIC charting preferred Required clinical experience areas: Neurosurgery, Spine, Complex Orthopedics/Orthopedic Spine, Complex General Surgery (including Bariatric) Preferred experience: ENT, GU, Plastics, BurnsRoles & Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room Assist with instrumentation and equipment setup for surgical procedures Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflows Maintain awareness of the surgical procedure, anticipating the needs of the surgeon Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelinesCompliance / Notes: Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions allowed Strict fingerprinting and credentialing timeline Documentation due by Tuesday prior to start References required: 2 professional references, including one from a manager/director or formal supervisor Must remove all jewelry and arm bands from upper extremities prior to scrubbing
