Opportunity:
Physician (MD) – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with 20-25 clinic patient encounters per shift and 1-6 inpatient encounters
• Manage low risk pregnancies and perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Provide routine delivery services including vaginal deliveries and low forceps
• Exercise decision-making for cesarean sections and perform c-sections as required
• Handle complicated deliveries including breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures
• Perform surgical gynecology services including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Perform operative/major surgical gynecology including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Board certification required with active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days
• Nearest airports are CWA or ATW with lodging accommodations available nearby
