Primary Duties and Responsibilities: \n
\n
Job Summary : SEACORP is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer inManassas, VA or Middletown, RI. The selected candidate will join a highlytalented team responsible for design and delivery of the Common InfrastructureServices (CIS) within the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems(SWFTS).\n
\n
\nJob Responsibilities Include:\n
\n

\n
• Work with software developers, test engineers, systemsengineers and cyber experts to analyze and decompose requirements.
\n
• Design software approaches, support integrationand test, manage interfaces, and assess software deliveries.
\n
• Work with the larger SWFTS community to integrateCIS releases and deploy to the fleet.
\n
• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, acreative problem solver and able to work effectively in a multi-teamenvironment. Experience with Linux Operating system, Confluence and Jira is aplus.
\n

Qualifications: \n
\n
Education: A Bachelor's degree in an engineering field isrequired.\n
\n
Experience : 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience on softwareintensive systems.\n
\n
\nRequired Skills and Experience:\n
\n

\n
• Demonstrated experience in requirements derivationand management.
\n
• Experience generating system engineering artifacts.
\n
• Development of test steps in support of requirements verification andvalidation.
\n
• Ability to work effectively with developers, customers, and leadership frommultiple teams.
\n
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
\n

\n
\nIdeal Skills and Experience:\n
\n

\n
• Experience with containerized applications.
\n
• Experience working in an Agile methodology.
\n
• Working knowledge of SWFTS and/or AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat WeaponSystems.
\n
• Experience with Linux Operating systems.
\n
• Experience with Jira, Confluence.
\n

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.\n
