Welder - 2nd Shift

Currently LNS is looking for a Welder for 2nd Shift that is capable of performing a variety of welding functions with various types of welding equipment and a variety of metal gauges and the ability to read blueprints. All available on day one. Shift Premium of $2.00 for 2nd and 3rd shift operators also included. Requirements Set up and operate all kinds of welding equipment on any job assigned Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, operations sheets, and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements Continual check work to ensure quality of weld Ability to perform heating and cutting operations Qualifications Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols a must Welding certificate or diploma preferred or 2 to 3 years of related experience in welding to blueprint specifications Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per day Shift Second Shift Equal Employment Opportunity We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
